‘Our dream of buying and living in Portugal started by trawling many soulless property websites and speaking to rather corporate international estate agents, all of these leaving us rather directionless in knowing where to begin.

Then we contacted Alice and Pieter at Enjoy Portugal who turned our dream search into a reality. They took our brief of what kind of property and lifestyle we wanted and then honed a list of suitable properties that would be right for us. It was their understanding of our dreams, combined with local knowledge that led to us finding our home.

But it wasn’t just finding the property, Alice and Pieter were right beside us during the purchasing process too. They smoothed any problems, and made sure that we understood the differences between buying in Portugal to that of the United Kingdom.

So now we have our dream home in the Alentejo, and as postscript to our story, six months after buying in the countryside we bought an apartment in Lisbon. Naturally, Alice and Pieter were the first and only people we called.’
